Released initially for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and later ported to PC and current-generation consoles, Assassin’s Creed Rogue tells the story of Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin who defects to join the Templars. One clever modder unlocked the ship’s cosmetic system to allow players to fly (including Templar crosses and historical naval ensigns). Another went further, enabling the use of Edward Kenway’s pistol animations and sword moves—a small change that makes Shay feel distinct from his assassin predecessors.
